Salary range : 110k -120k
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with experience in the Insurance (Property & Casualty) sector, specializing in digital transformation services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for hunting new logos, developing strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth by securing new business opportunities.
You will be expected to identify and engage with key decision-makers at insurance firms to present innovative digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and competitive advantage.
What you’ll do?
- Hunt for new business opportunities within the Insurance P&C sector by identifying and engaging with potential clients, focusing on digital transformation services.
- Drive new logo acquisition, working toward aggressive sales targets, and expanding the company's footprint in the insurance vertical.
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to create and nurture a strong sales pipeline, using data-driven approaches.
- Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives, business leaders, and decision-makers within target insurance companies.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as product development, marketing, and delivery to tailor digital transformation solutions that meet client needs.
- Lead client presentations, solution demonstrations, and negotiations to secure new business.
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape in the P&C insurance sector to identify emerging opportunities for growth.
- Stay updated on digital technologies, such as AI, automation, cloud, and big data, that impact the insurance industry and use this knowledge to drive sales efforts.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on sales progress, forecasts, and market feedback.
Requirements
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Experience : 7-12 years of experience in business development, with a focus on new business (hunting) and selling digital transformation services in the Insurance P&C sector.
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring new clients and meeting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of the P&C insurance industry and the challenges it faces in terms of digital transformation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
- Ability to manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and delivering high-value deals.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
Requirements
A. Proven advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platform B. Previous experience of working with software and application development C.
Ability to problem solve high-level software with application issues. D. Experience delivering customer-facing interfaces E.
Ability to Project Manage workload and deliverables F. Strong verbal / written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to communicate with both business effectively and technical teams G.
Interpreting end-user needs into Salesforce H. Working hand in hand with client to collect business necessities and identify business procedures I.
Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce.com architecture J. Detailed experience writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers K.
Proficiency in HTML, XML, Flex, JavaScript, ASP, SQL, Java or C++, SOAP-based web services L. Strong understanding of relational databases M.
Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, DemandTools, Eclipse Force.com IDE)
