Part time 8 : 30 am-5 : 00 pm
Primary Responsibilities :
Works within the California MA Scope of Practice to perform patient intake process
vital signs, history)
- Assists the providers with procedures
- Maintains clinical logs (temperature logs)
- Submits electronic referrals for additional services
- Enrolls / responds to electronic patient messages in the patient portal program
- Makes / Takes patient calls
- Patient scheduling
- Flexible to work front and back office
Required Qualifications :
- High school graduate or GED
- Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Current BLS card for healthcare providers or willing to obtain
Preferred Qualifications :
- EMR experience
- Experience in Out Patient medical office
- Bilingual Spanish
compensation : $21 / hr
