- $500 Travel Reimbursement n nASAP STARTS ONLY nShift Notes : friday 9-930p, sat 7-730p, sun 7-730p nWill accept LOCAL Placements n nCT tech needed asap For both inpatient / outpatient (outpatient center w / urgent care) nthere is 1 floor - it's a hospital that closed, but still have 1 floor open so occasionally get a head CT for a fall, but anybody super sick will go to the main hospital.
nMust be IV certified, or IV competent, because they do need to insert IV's nOccassional CTA, but no coronal CTA nif they can do calcium score on a GE, that's a huge plus* nthey have a brand new GE dual energy scanner nmust be able to work independently (occasionally will be alone) nProbably 12 miles northeast of Boston nMassachusetts License and ARRT(CT) with IV cert please.
nLicensed in MA and ARRT(CT) certified, graduate of AMA approved educational program in Radiological Technology n3-5 years of experience nEquipment info : GE VCT and Evo / Evolution nEssential Technical Functions : n1.
Follows hospital protocol for exam routines and produces quality studies in an efficient, timely manner. n2. Is competent to operate all equipment in the department or has requested training in specific areas.
n3. Properly warm up CT scanner and run QA, bring up pressure injector, PACs units and Meditech. n4. Completes CT procedure and tasks in an effective and efficient manner, i.
e. provide appropriate feedback to patient, clean room, etc. n5. Able to adjust and manipulate image to required specifications, i.
e. windowing, contrast, algo, separates exams by accession, create reformatted images, etc. n6. Knowledge of scanners, Med Rad inj.
PACs, VRC, Powerscribe. n7. Selects proper scanning levels depending upon field of scan and organ selected. n8. Ensures that all scans are properly identified anatomically and all appropriate information, i.
e. name, date, accession #, order in place, contrast volume and lot #. n9. Completes administrative part of procedure; tech edit, escort patient, clean and prepare room.
n10. Notifies Coordinator or delegate of any / all equipment malfunctions. n11. Reports wet reading findings to physicians, Emergency Department, Nursing Units, etc.
Can access RadPortal if necessary. n12. Restores (requests) prior exams for radiologist and VRC if necessary. Can burn CD for patient or ER if requested.
n13. Stock rooms, request stock to be ordered when necessary. Tidies control rooms. Keeps all work area clean and functional.
