About The Position

Job Title : Ultrasound Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Client Fetal Ultrasound

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 10

Experience : 2 years of experience in OB ultrasound and 1 year of MFM ultrasound experience

License : State license required

Certifications : ARDMS OB / GYN, BLS, NT

Must-Have :

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology Program
• Nuchal translucency certification
• Basic Life Support certification by an accredited organization
• Knowledge of all ultrasound equipment and its operation
• Understanding of equipment and computer systems
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology
• Ability to recognize fetal malformations

Description :

This position is responsible for performing specialized technical tasks in diagnostic ultrasound.

Utilizing high-frequency sound waves to assist in detecting anatomical abnormalities.

The role involves assisting in the delivery of personalized and quality patient care.

Internal and external customer service is also a key responsibility.

Responsibilities include performing all ultrasound examinations.

Transportation of patients to and from imaging services is required.

Preparation of departmental paperwork and answering departmental calls is essential.

Scheduling patients and managing patient information in the picture archiving and communication system and hospital information system is necessary.

Maintaining a clean and organized work area is expected.
