We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Global Supply Chain Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the strategic direction and roadmap for our supply chain automation systems.

Your mission will be to ensure every seller, every location, and every customer across the globe can seamlessly access our world-class supply chain capabilities.

This is a high-profile position that requires exceptional performance, strong business judgment, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where managing multiple projects and priorities is the norm.

Key job responsibilities

  • Partner with key stakeholders to define the strategy, vision, and roadmap for growing products and scaling globally
  • Think innovatively about the needs of both internal and external customers, and develop groundbreaking products and large-scale improvements
  • Lead investment, prioritization, and trade-off discussions
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including technical teams, to develop detailed product, business, and system requirements for large-scale and complex product launches
  • Manage project milestones from design to launch, proactively identify and resolve strategic and tactical issues, and provide cross-functional leadership to deliver on the program
  • Identify and measure product and business metrics to drive improvements and better understand customer and seller needs
  • Be accountable for the overall product experience and financial performance of the product area
  • Write strategic and technical documents
  • Interact with leadership to socialize strategic concepts, gain buy-in and alignment, and create working backwards delivery plans, such as PRFAQs and Long-Term Vision Documents

A day in the life

As a Senior Product Manager, your day may involve a mix of strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on execution.

You might start your day by reviewing the latest customer and business insights, then meet with your engineering team to discuss the technical roadmap.

Throughout the day, you might attend stakeholder meetings to align on priorities, write product requirements for an upcoming launch, and present your vision to senior leadership.

You'll need to be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, making data-driven decisions, and providing strong leadership to your team.

Our Global Supply Chain Technology team is responsible for building the systems and solutions that power Amazon's world-class supply chain.

We are a diverse, talented group of professionals who are passionate about using technology to solve complex logistical challenges and deliver an exceptional experience for our customers and sellers.

As a Senior Product Manager, you'll be a key member of this team, driving innovation and shaping the future of Amazon's global supply chain capabilities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field
  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Experience owning / driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience as a product manager or owner
  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Master's degree or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
