To further this mission, we're looking for an experienced consumer growth marketer to join our growing consumer marketing team at a pivotal and exciting time for DoorDash.

The growth marketing team is focused on building and nurturing our relationship with our audiences : Dasher, Merchant and Consumer via paid media.

We are rapidly growing and looking for people to join our team as a leader, help develop our marketing approach, and grow their career as the team expands.

About the Role

A talented and driven performance marketer with strong creative vision and knowledge with strong technical skills to help us goal, analyze and build on the success of our creative across offline and online channels.

This role will offer you the opportunity to have an immediate impact by managing creative optimization for all media channels.

You'll be the mastermind behind the creative framework that fuels our growth. You'll collaborate with creative and channel management teams developing and executing creative concepts that push the boundaries of performance marketing.

You will be a leader across the full creative lifecycle working with the creative and performance team on ideation, briefing, execution, and performance analysis.

This role will sit on the Growth Marketing team but work on the daily between our team and our internal creative studio, Superette, as well as partnering closely with MarTech and Analytics.

You will test and implement new creatives regularly driving improved performance across all channels. You'll serve as the voice of this work and establish regular reporting via dashboards and communication to working teams and leadership on the impact of the work.

  • Generate innovative creative ideas to test in ad creatives across multiple channels working with online, offline, and creative teams every day.
  • Partner with our internal creative studio to create detailed briefs for creative assets, ensuring clarity for the editing team, and providing ongoing feedback to bring concepts to life.
  • Establish and maintain a structured approach to track creative performance, analyze what works, and apply learnings to future concepts driving our understanding of the impact of all of our creative in market while ensuring we are implementing learnings across both brand and performance objectives.
  • Build and manage an experimentation roadmap to optimize performance via creative across all online and offline channels by leveraging lift and A / B creative tests.
  • Collaborate and partner with other teams and stakeholders to ensure goals are met.

You are results-oriented with demonstrated analyzing and optimizing large budgets across media channels. You are highly analytical and count A / B testing, optimizing customer acquisition costs, and analyzing campaign performance among your core competencies.

  • Proven track record in developing creative concepts for consumer-facing brands.
  • 5+ years of experience in creative strategy or performance marketing, at an agency or in-house team.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social platforms, and performance ad creatives.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills; must be very comfortable with data analysis and able to use data to make decisions
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics and the nuances of managing media with limited data signals based on today's privacy environment.
  • Ability to organize, track, and analyze creative performance to drive learnings and iterate effectively.
  • Experience working closely with creative teams, from editors to graphic designers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting creative ideas and results to both internal teams and clients.
  • You are highly proficient in Excel / Google Sheets, as well as a strong grasp of A / B testing, and metrics driven performance marketing.

Knowledge of SQL, Python or other data processing scripts is required.

  • You are proactive, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have an outstanding ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems
  • You have attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location.Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
