TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN I

Under general supervision, provides technical assistance to customers, assists users with hardware and software issues, installs software, and performs related work as required.

This is an Open Competitive / Countywide Promotional recruitment being conducted to fill multiple current full-time vacancies in the Washoe County Technology Services department. The list established from this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies as they occur.

Responsibilities and Qualifications :

• Two years of full-time experience in a technology support position; OR an associate's degree from an accredited college or university in information technology or a closely related field; OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
• A valid driver's license is required at the time of appointment and must be maintained for continued employment in this classification.
