We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controllerwith a strong background in the legal industry to join our team inLos Angeles CA.
As the Controller you will be responsible foroverseeing all financial and accounting operations for the company.This is a fulltime permanent position with excellent benefits andgrowth opportunities.
KeyResponsibilities :
Manage all aspects of thecompanys financial operations including budgeting forecasting andfinancial reporting
Develop and implementfinancial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legaland regulatory requirements
Oversee thepreparation of financial statements tax returns and other financialreports
Conduct regular audits to ensureaccuracy and integrity of financial data
Monitor and analyze financial performance and providerecommendations for improvement
Manage cashflow and ensure timely payment of invoices and expenses
Supervise and mentor accounting staff providing guidanceand support as needed
Collaborate with otherdepartments to develop and implement strategies for cost controland revenue growth
Serve as a key point ofcontact for external auditors tax advisors and other financialpartners
Stay uptodate on industry trends andchanges in accounting standards to ensure compliance and bestpractices
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
CPA designation preferred
Minimum of5 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the legalindustry
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financialreporting standards
Proficient in accountingsoftware and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellentanalytical problemsolving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiplepriorities
Experience managing a team andproviding leadership and guidance
Strongattention to detail and accuracy
