Position : Community Manager

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager.
  • Manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management.
  • Supervise on-site staff to ensure compliance with Asset Living policies and safety and fair housing guidelines.
  • Perform financial management tasks including budgeting, monitoring deposits, rent collections, vendor invoices, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement yearly marketing and leasing plans; utilize marketing systems to achieve leasing goals.
  • Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; handle resident complaints and retention programs.
  • Plan and supervise administrative and maintenance activities; ensure timely reporting and inspections.
  • Lead emergency response for the property and coordinate with staff, residents, and vendors to minimize liability.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred, or four years of housing industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
  • Proficiency with on-site software and basic computer skills; knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate with others, work overtime, weekends, and night hours in emergencies.
  • Regularly sit or stand; move about to accomplish tasks; may require climbing stairs or ladders and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Work in various environments and temperatures; operate vehicles as needed.
  • License / Equipment

  • Must have reliable transportation due to on-call requirements.
  • Salary Range : $19.00 / hr - $21.00 / hr
