Status : Full-Time Hourly FLSA Classification : Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position : This position is responsible to provide direct support for the Polk County program and program director.
- Program Coordinator should have a strong knowledge of the day-to-day operations of the program, particularly as it relates to contract compliance, service delivery, and the participant intake / referral process for services.
- This position oversees the behavioral health service as it relates to participant case management and providing community outreach and support.
- The work has less to do with general office duties than with assisting in the operation or administration of a local program / unit.
Qualifications / Requirements : Minimum High School Diploma or GED and Bachelor’s degree preferred with commensurate experience in community-based agency programs except for programs where the referring authority requires a specific degree.
- At a minimum, at least one-year previous experience in managing personnel and budgets.
- Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience in the provision of home and community-based services is a plus.
- May consider a non-degreed applicant with 2-5 years of experience.
Bi-Lingual / Spanish Speaking is preferred.
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance coverage.
