Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic Rehab Department. We're looking for an individual with a positive attitude who is committed to providing the highest quality rehabilitation services to our patients. As a PTA, you will play a crucial role in delivering professional outpatient and / or inpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation services. You'll work closely with our physical therapists to implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring our patients receive the best possible care.

Department : Rehab

Location : Caro, MI

Hours : Full Time. Days. Weekend Rotation. Full Benefits.

Wage : $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities :

Assist physical therapists in implementing comprehensive and individualized treatment plans for patients.
Monitor and accurately document patient progress, making detailed observations and recording responses to therapy.
Report any changes or concerns in patient progress promptly to the supervising physical therapist.
Educate patients and their families on exercises, proper body mechanics, and adaptive equipment to facilitate recovery and promote long-term wellness.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and sanitized.
Adhere strictly to the APTA Standards of Practice, prevailing accreditation body guidelines, and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.

Skills :

Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in a professional setting.

Qualifications :

Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Michigan.

Ability to successfully pass a criminal background investigation and drug test.

CPR for Professional Rescuer or BLS-C certification required (will be provided by the employer if needed).

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
