Work you'll do

As an OTT Insurance Transformation Senior Consultant, you will bring technical expertise to deliver effective solutions to clients.

Other position responsibilities include :

• Assist in the delivery of components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large Insurance Carriers / companies.
• Responsibilities include, among others, supporting the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures.
• Hands on technical expertise specifically related to Integration to complex legacy applications.
• Responsible for end-to-end development of the Guidewire platform, focusing on configuration and integration with surrounding upstream and downstream applications and data platforms.
• Advise on opportunities to improve capabilities and create efficiencies as part of the platform roadmap.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 6 years' consulting or relevant Insurance experience within Property & Casualty - Personal Lines, Commercial Lines or Specialty Insurance
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in a Guidewire development role using Java
• 6+ years of hands-on technical experience using Java / J2EE technology stack with a deep knowledge of the SDLC; back-end or full-stack experience - Java, JavaScript, Angular JS, React JS
• 6 years of experience working in one of the following Insurance sub service areas : User experience, Integration, Claims, Billing & Payments, Policy Administration, Underwriting or Distribution
• 6 years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance with one of the following solutions : Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, Origami or similar package
• 4+ years of experience estimating and planning Large Scale System Implementations
• 6+ years of experience supporting at least one large Business Integration effort and project team through one or more project lifecycle phases from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development and testing
• 6+ years of experience in translating requirements into optimized designs, and identifying design alternatives and implications on functionality, effort, performance and operations
• 2+ years' experience directly managing teams - including onshore, offshore, nearshore with direct reporting responsibility
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries / sectors you serve

Preferred

• Advanced degree in area of technical specialization
• CPCU, AIC, ARM Certification
• Guidewire certifications
• Gosu experience (Guidewire), EJB, BPEL, UNIX background
• Experience with Business Process Modeling (BPM) tools, Business rules integration
• Experience with technologies like BEA, Sonic, IBM, Oracle, Apache ServiceMix, FuseESB, Camel, Mule etc.
• Strong knowledge and comprehension of standards, specifications, standards bodies (e.g., XML, UDDI, JMS, Web services, etc.)
• Experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP

experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,900 - $208,250
