We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry located in Boca Raton, Florida.
This role involves handling customer inquiries, processing customer applications, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced environment.
This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and process customer applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain and update customer records regularly to ensure the most accurate information is available
- Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing solutions and guidance as needed
- Monitor customer accounts for any irregularities or issues and take appropriate action
- Utilize data entry skills to input and update customer information in the system
- Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that arise
- Handle mid-volume inbound calls from customers, providing excellent service and closing sales
- Utilize strong selling skills to qualify customers, overcome objections, and close deals
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring a smooth customer service experience
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- Applicants must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the healthcare, hospitals or social assistance industries, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in data entry is essential for this role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
- Applicants must have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure are necessary.
- A high level of professionalism and a customer-focused attitude are essential.
- Knowledge of medical terminologies and procedures will be an advantage.
- Applicants must be able to work in a team environment and contribute to team goals.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus.
- Applicants must have strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Fluency in additional languages will be considered an asset but is not required.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, during weekends, or holidays if needed.
- Compliance with all health, safety, and infection control guidelines is necessary.
- Knowledge of patient privacy and data security regulations, particularly HIPAA, is beneficial.
