The Loan Servicing Specialist will provide servicing support for Middle Market Lending portfolios including Capital Markets, Franchise Lending, First Insurance Funding, Wintrust Business Credit, Real Estate Services, Derivatives and Wealth Services.

In this role, you will book and fund middle market commercial loans (including participations); post payments, advances & payoffs and process loan maintenance within the ACBS loan servicing system.

Reconcile, research & clear items on loan related general ledger accounts.

What you'll do :

Review and interpret commercial loan approvals and documents for proper booking on the ACBS loan servicing system.

Fund loans via wire transfer system, DDA or check.

Ensure proper booking and earnings of all loan fees / costs in accordance with loan documentation.

Maintain loan system data integrity to accurately reflect loan file contents, as well as ensure accurate management reporting.

Process loan payments, advances, payoffs and general maintenance for Middle Market Loan Portfolios within the ACBS loan servicing system.

Communicate and respond to inquiries from lenders, credit reporting, finance, and quality control groups.

Qualifications :

3-5 years in Commercial Loan Operations or Commercial Servicing.

Understanding of complex commercial lending structures and loan documentation (LaserPro and Attorney prepared).

Prior experience in commercial loan operations and a good understanding of loan accounting systems, general ledger and finance interaction.

Experience with commercial loan systems / software.

Ability to perform duties with a high level of accuracy, meet deadlines within tight timeframes and multi-task when the situation calls for it.

Participation / syndication knowledge a plus.

Ability to recognize and communicate special handling needs for complex loan transactions.

Strong analytical skills.
