Certification Details
- ACLS, BLS required.

Job Details
- RTO after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite.
- Target Ratios : Mixed acuity unit with PCU and MS / Tele patients with ratios of 1 : 6
- 36-48 hrs can be offered. OT will be offered after 48 hrs.
- Unit will accept contracts up to March 15, 2025.
- 12 HOUR NIGHTS; 18 : 45 - 07 : 15
- Float Requirement : required to float to like units.
- Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts in 6 weeks but staffing needs may require more.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Years of Experience : 1 year required.
- Traveler Experience : Unit WILL ACCEPTS 1st time traveler.
- Skills : IV start, Vents, Telemetry and cpap / bipap, Interpretation / management of dysrhythmias.
- Certs : ACLS, BLS
- PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP : NIHSS
- Patient Population : COPD, PNA, Resp distress, Covid-19, FLU, PE’s.
- Patient population currently includes care for COVID-19 patients, including those who have tested positive.
- Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
Schedule Information
- 36-48 hours can be offered.
- Overtime will be offered after 48 hours has been reached.
- 12 Hour Night Shifts : 18 : 45 - 07 : 15
- Unit Can Accommodate Block Scheduling

- SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS : Higher end acuity on med-surg, chronic trach / vent patients.

- Special Procedures / Unit Details : Unit operates with a team lead present, 2 respiratory therapists, and an assistant nurse manager on shift including weekends.
- Special Equipment : Chest tubes, Drips including Dopamine, Cardizem, Heparin, vents, trachs, bipaps / cpaps
- Unit Systems : Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
