Job Title : Generative AI & AWS Architect

Location : Bay Area, CA (Onsite / Hybrid)

Job Type : Full-Time

Base Pay Range : $130,000.00 / yr – $170,000.00 / yr

Job Summary : We are seeking a Generative AI & AWS Architect to design, develop, and deploy serverless, LLM‑based solutions on AWS at scale. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with AWS Bedrock Agents, RAG architectures, and agentic workflows, and will play a key role in building cutting‑edge AI‑driven applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and deploy serverless applications on AWS using Lambda, API Gateway, Fargate, CDK, and CloudFormation.
  • Build, extend, and optimize RAG systems and agent‑based AI workflows.
  • Implement and manage AWS Bedrock Agents, including action groups, knowledge bases, and orchestration patterns.
  • Integrate vector databases and semantic search with Bedrock knowledge bases.
  • Design event‑driven architectures with Lambda and containerized workloads.
  • Work with SQL (RDS, Aurora) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases for AI applications.
  • Apply prompt engineering, function calling, and agent reasoning patterns.
  • Implement CI / CD pipelines for serverless applications and container deployments.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.
  • Communicate complex AI architectures clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year hands‑on experience with Generative AI and LLM‑based solutions.
  • Proven experience as an AWS Architect designing and deploying serverless applications at scale.
  • Demonstrated expertise in AWS Bedrock Agents in production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of RAG architectures and agentic workflows.
  • Proficiency in AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Fargate, CDK (TypeScript or Python), CloudFormation.
  • Experience with vector databases, SQL and NoSQL databases, and semantic search integration.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Candidate must be based in the Bay Area.

    • Preferred Skills

  • Experience in prompt engineering and function calling for AI agents.
  • Familiarity with distributed system design and complex event‑driven architectures.
  • Strong track record with CI / CD pipelines for AI applications.
