Our client, a top AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Associate to join their national Privacy Litigation team.
This position is open to all offices, with a preference for Los Angeles.
Candidate Profile :
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Active Bar Admission in the state for which the office you are applying is required.
- Privacy litigation preferred but not required.
- Significant litigation experience , including managing all elements of case work-up and trial preparation.
- Strong legal research and writing skills, with experience drafting briefs, complaints, pretrial motions, memoranda, and discovery requests.
- Knowledge and experience with federal, state, and international privacy laws are a plus.
- Practical advice-giving ability, along with superior communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Ambition, drive, and a team-oriented approach to support and grow the national practice.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage all aspects of tech transactions and data privacy incident response cases, from case work-up to trial preparation.
- Draft and review legal documents, including briefs, complaints, and motions.
- Provide practical advice on sophisticated tech transactions and data privacy matters.
- Engage directly with clients and contribute to the development of case strategy.
