SUMMARY STATEMENT
Perform general maintenance work on the building grounds and equipment.
DUTIES
- Maintains and repairs plant structures and machines, electrical systems, heating systems, air conditioning units, sprinkler systems, ventilating systems, and plumbing.
- Performs carpentry, masonry, welding, sheet metal work, millwright work, and other maintenance work as needed.
- Paints structures or equipment as needed.
- Keeps machines and work area clean.
- Performs work in accordance with instructions and schedules.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by supervision.
- Conduct PM’s as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have two-years working in the field or graduated from a vocational / technical school.
- Must be able to pass the General Maintenance test.
- Ability to understand and follow detailed oral and written instructions and procedures in the English language.
- Basic math and English skills.
- Ability to successfully pass forklift certification, boom lift, scissor lift.
- Must be able to read prints and specs.
- Must be able to work well with others.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
