Radiology Technologist - PRN
Landmark Hospital of Athens has an exciting opportunity for a Radiology Technologist to join our dedicated and professional team.

Radiology Technologist Summary : Provide patient care services via diagnostic radiology exams / procedures utilizing CT, x-ray and c-arm equipment.
Will also perform other administrative duties as assigned, including scheduling of radiology department staff.
Responsibilities :
- Verifies patient history and procedure / examination information
- Obtains and documents patient information including history, pregnancy status, procedure(s) performed, and problems encountered
- Produces quality images within prescribed amount of time; labels in accordance with established guidelines
- Produces images that are complete and of sufficient quality to be easily read by radiologist
- Assumes responsibility for provisions of physical and psychological needs of patient during radiology procedure(s)
- Applies principles of radiation safety practices, infection control procedures to protect self and others
- Strictly follows isolated and infection control procedures
Requirements :
- Vocational / Graduate of an AMA radiologic technology program
- Registered Radiologic Technician by the State of GA
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)(CT)(R)
- Experience with : CT, EKG, Portable X-ray, Portable Mini C-arm, PACS
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year hospital experience, critical care / acute care preferred
