Position Overview : ASC Global is seeking a dynamic Customer Service and Sales Operations Manager to enhance our sales operations and customer service functions.
This role is essential in optimizing business processes, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving operational efficiency.
You will oversee various aspects of sales operations, support inside sales efforts, and manage customer service functions.
Responsibilities
Sales Operations :
- Coordinate and streamline sales activities to maximize productivity.
- Manage sales tracking tools and report critical data to stakeholders.
- Process all orders with accuracy and ensure timely delivery.
- Assist in organizing promotional materials and events.
- Ensure availability and maintenance of sales-related equipment and materials.
Inside Sales :
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to support their growth and development.
- Share vital information, project descriptions, and qualification data to enhance inside sales efforts.
- Provide best practices and knowledge to improve inside sales performance.
Customer Service :
- Address and resolve escalations from Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), or directly from customers.
- Maintain timely and effective communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Understand and promptly respond to client needs and inquiries.
Team Leadership :
Ensure accurate data entry into the ERP system for customer information, contracts, pricing, and order details.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Work closely with operations teams.
- Stay informed about product lead times, factory loading, and recovery dates.
- Keep up-to-date with product availability and production schedules.
Delivery and Fulfillment Coordination :
- Coordinate communication regarding delivery and order fulfillment with customers and the sales team.
- Manage emergency customer issues effectively to ensure timely resolution.
Continuous Improvement :
- Drive improvements in order processing quality, delivery efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Optimize the automated order entry system and actively participate in process development reviews.
Benchmarking and Collaboration :
Benchmark methodologies and systems from other locations and collaborate with global teams for enhancements.
Qualifications
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in leading sales and / or customer service teams or initiatives.
- Proven success in leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Working knowledge of ERP / MRP systems and their application in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in coaching, developing, and mentoring teams.
- Ability to use metrics and tools to drive department performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
