Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Med Surg / Emergency Room (ER) Job Duration : Not specified Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 1 year of experience in an acute and / or emergency room setting is strongly preferred License : Licensed to practice professional nursing in the state of Nebraska Certifications : - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Required or must obtain within 6 months of employment - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Required or must obtain within 6 months of employment - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - Required within 1 year of employment - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required Must-Have : Graduation from an accredited school of nursing Job Description : - Practice nursing under the supervision of the Director of Acute Emergency Services.
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise individual patient care according to policies and procedures.- Support and uphold the Patient Bill of Rights.
- Provide, prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care with other healthcare providers to meet holistic needs of patients.
- Work with patients in Emergency (Level IV Trauma certified), Inpatient (Med / Surg), Swing Bed, Hospice, and Observation.
- Housing may be challenging, but the area is located near major cities.- Work environment includes 24 / 7 Advanced Practice Providers for emergency services and inpatient care.
