El Camino Health Medical Network is currently seeking a Part-Time Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our growing healthcare team!

Location : San Jose, CA

Schedule : 28 hours per week, Tuesday-Thursday 9am-5 : 30pm and Friday from 9am-1pm.

Pay : $34.00-$52.00 per hour

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides appropriate care to patients and their families in a compassionate and professional manner. She / he assists the patient’s care team in implementing the medical plan of care.

Essential Functions :

Clinical duties may include, but are not limited to :

• Assists physicians with patient visits which include : rooming and interviewing patients, taking and recording vital signs to include; height and weight, documenting medications, and entering the information in the patients’ electronic medical record (EMR)
• Prepares and reviews patients’ EMR according to standard Pre-Visit Prep work flow. Reviews EMR entries for completeness ensuring all required information is included
• Scans all pertinent information into the EMR
• Performs and assists providers with routine and / or specialized clinical procedures
• Administers ordered medications and vaccines in a safe, accurate, professional and timely manner following policies and procedures
• Assist in making follow-up appointments and consultation appointments with specialists for patients

Performs all other duties as assigned including department-specific functions and responsibilities
