Position Description :
We are seeking a talented, driven, and experienced Senior Automation Engineer (SDET) with a passion for solving business problems to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT.
This role will be performed at the client site in Salt Lake City, UT! You’ll be part of a team supporting our client's Banking system modernization effort.
Your future duties and responsibilities :
How you'll make an impact :
- Develop Test automation framework for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with Product Management and business partners to understand the requirements
- Research, analyze and recommend technology features, functionality, and automation solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and methodologies
- Document automation code, perform code reviews, define and participate in secure coding best practices
- Stay current on industry and development latest trends and technologies
Required qualifications to be successful in this role :
What you'll bring :
- 6+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer
- Experience creating relational database queries and analyzing data
- Experience creating, executing, and maintaining industry standard test automation frameworks as well as planning, estimating, and reporting automation testing activities
- Experience using API’s (e.g. SOAP / REST) to get / post the required information from / to other interfaces
- Experience with Agile and / or Waterfall methodologies
- Experience with Selenium, Java or Python, Postman as well as Bamboo, GIT, Artifactory, JIRA, and Confluence
- Experience with testing in containerized environments (e.g. Docker)
- Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous testing practices
- Experience working with offshore teams
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e. : Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar major with extensive computer-based or technical content)
Compensation : A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300 - $133,500.
