Nursery Registered Nurse - Full-Time Days with Call
Job Summary
The Nursery Registered Nurse is responsible for promoting and restoring patient's health, collaborating with the healthcare team, and providing support to patients and their families.
This role involves assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care, as well as providing education to patients and their families.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Identify patient care requirements and establish rapport with patients and families
- Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families
- Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and providing education
- Adhere to therapeutic standards and ensure quality care
- Ensure proper operation of equipment and maintain a safe working environment
- Adhere to infection control policies and regulations
Education / Experience Requirements
Required : Graduate of an accredited associate degree in Nursing
Preferred : Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program or higher degree, and one or more years of related experience
Licensure / Certification Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Nurse licensure
- Basic Life Support Certification (Preferred)
