Responsibilities

• Assures customers are receiving world class customer service and attention in the fitting rooms
• Answer all incoming calls in a friendly, professional and pleasant disposition
• Be knowledgeable and courteous while assisting customers and transferring calls to appropriate associates or areas for further assistance
• Assist in general office duties that include mail, phones, and assisting other office positions as needed
• Assist in various projects for members of the Leadership team as needed
• Development of product knowledge and partner with sales associates to help achieve daily selling goals
• Focuses on fashion trends
• Checks customers in and out of rooms, while monitoring amount of merchandise the customer has in the fitting room
• Prepares merchandise (buttons, zips, etc.) to return to the selling floor
• Be knowledgeable to answer questions regarding location, price and use of merchandise
• Contribute to a work environment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team and promotes personal growth
• Demonstrate strong organization, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and problem solving skills
• Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere and treat others with respect
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to complete basic mathematical equations
• Promote the Scheels Visa card and clearly explain all benefits

Education & Experience

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED; 1-3 months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push / pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Medium work requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 30 pounds frequently, and / or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. Follow safety procedures to minimize risk of injury.

Compensation & Schedule

Compensation for this position starts at $17.50 per hour. Must be flexible to work an assigned schedule between 9 : 00am-9 : 00pm Monday through Saturday and 10 : 00am-6 : 00pm Sunday. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, holidays, with set two nights per week to close and a set day off during the week and every other weekend rotation, averaging 40 hours per week.
