Being part of the TikTok Shop Design team member, you will be able to utilize qualitative / quantitative studies to collect user feedback, create a deep understanding and empathy for our users, and work cross-functionally with design, product, and marketing teams to meet the business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging TikTok e-commerce consumer experiences with an emphasis on visual aesthetics and communication design.
• Understand Business Needs : Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to translate business goals into visual concepts.
• Develop Visual Concepts : Create key visuals, core concepts, and other visual assets using tools like Figma, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Collaborate with Teams : Work with product managers, designers, and developers to integrate visual design into the product.
• Test and Iterate : Participate in concept and usability testing, gather feedback, and refine designs.
• Ensure High-Quality Design : Oversee the design process to deliver a visually appealing and pixel-perfect user interface.
• Stay Updated on Trends : Keep up with the latest design trends and best practices to enhance the visual quality of TikTok Shop's products.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Communication Design, or a related field.
• Strong background in visual and communication design, with experience designing end-to-end products across various scenarios.
• Proven ability to empathize with users and deliver visually compelling solutions that address their needs.
• Ability to create visual design variations and justify choices through effective visual storytelling and user-centered design.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the capability to articulate design concepts and rationales clearly.
• Self-motivated and proactive, capable of managing complex projects and driving design initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3D and Motion design skills are a plus.
• Familiarity with TikTok Shop and current trends on the platform is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to produce polished designs under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong teamwork skills, with a collaborative and open-minded approach.
