CDL Delivery Drivers Shift : starts between 2 : 00am and 5 : 00am

Hourly Wage- $24 / hr

POSITION DESCRIPTION :

Oberweis Dairy is seeking experienced professional CDL B Delivery Drivers who pride themselves on high standards of quality, safety, and customer service to join our team.

The Delivery Driver will safely drive a company vehicle on established routes to unload pre-ordered products. Each route and delivery day are unique and entail an average 15 20 wholesale stops.

Desired candidates have highly-developed interaction skills and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Delivery Drivers are expected to comply with Oberweis appearance guidelines and wear a company approved uniform.

CDL DELIVERY DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :

• CDL B with air-brakes
• Pre- and Post-inspections of delivery vehicles
• Safe and courteous operation of delivery vehicles
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicle
• Pick orders form handheld device
• Daily paperwork and logs completed for assigned deliveries
• Drive and work safely to prevent accidents and injuries.
• 4-day work week (typically Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday)
• Deliver in an efficient and professional manner.
• Follow DOT regulations and ability to pass a DOT physical
• Must meet the defined MVR standards at all times to remain qualified to drive company motor vehicle
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in refrigerated conditions 33-38 degrees
• High School Diploma or GED

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED :

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and physically demanding environment
• A high level of comfort with GPS technologies and digital communications
• Ability and desire to work outdoors in various types of weather
• Excellent communication skills
