About Us : The Launcher Entrepreneurship Program, under the umbrella of West End Neighborhood House, is seeking a Bilingual English / Spanish Program Manager. The Launcher program provides training and technical assistance to entrepreneurs in various communities throughout the state of Delaware. The program offers in-class training, one-on-one business counseling in the area of start-up, business plan development, analysis and preparation of actual and projected financial statements and marketing.
Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bilingual English / Spanish Program Manager to join our entrepreneurship program team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding aspiring entrepreneurs through the process of launching their businesses. As a Program Manager, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, manage program activities, obtain, evaluate and analyze data, and ensure the successful execution of initiatives that empower entrepreneurs and drive social impact.
Responsibilities
Program Leadership
- Manage the 14-week entrepreneur training program (“Plan It”) for Spanish-speaking participants, including scheduling, instructor coordination, recruitment, and curriculum updates.
- Oversee the Business Lab for Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs, providing ongoing technical assistance, one-on-one business advising, and connections to resources.
- Ensure program milestones, goals, and deliverables are met from recruitment through graduation and beyond.
- Monitor program effectiveness, gather participant feedback, and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, volunteers, mentors, and external partners to ensure a holistic and supportive ecosystem for entrepreneurs.
- Oversight of contracted instructors who support our clients through class and one on one advising sessions
- Track and report on key performance indicators, program outcomes, and success stories.
- Communicate with the Launcher students by telephone, e-mail or mail to coordinate for classes, workshops and update the database to have the most current and accurate information.
- Attend evening classes as needed and community events to promote and recruit for the program
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, local organizations, and stakeholders serving the Latino / Hispanic population.
- Attend and represent Launcher at community meetings, networking events, and outreach opportunities to promote programs and recruit participants.
- Identify and cultivate new partnerships that expand reach and strengthen support for entrepreneurs.
Manage contracted Trainers and Technical Assistant Advisors
Host bi-annual training for instructors and advisorsEnsure robust pool of instructors that have the capacity to serve target clientsCreate opportunities for sharing of best practices among instructorsConvene regular instructors meetingsOversee regular evaluation of all instructorsObtain regular feedback from instructors for program improvementsManage relationships with Neighborhood partners
Identify opportunities for new partnerships in target marketsOversee regular evaluation of existing partnersOversee regular convening of community partnersObtain regular feedback from partners for program improvementsData Management and Reporting
Ensure the data system is up to date and that all required reports and data have been submitted on time to the Program Director for approval with ample time prior to submission for funding reportsResponsible for overseeing the on time submission of all purchase and payment requisitions and invoices to the Program Director for approvalMaintain accurate records and a timely filing system and provide data reporting as neededContribute website and updates and edits as neededSpecial Projects and Events
Plan and manage workshops, trainings, and special events for Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs, including coordinating logistics, recruiting speakers, and overseeing “day of” activities.Collaborate with the communications and social media team to share events, success stories, and updates in both English and Spanish.Contribute content for newsletters, program flyers, and community outreach materials.Provide support for Grand Openings.Manage and implement smaller programs such as accelerators or youth programs.Qualifications :
Fluency in both Spanish and English (required) with excellent written and oral communication skills.High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.Passion for serving the community and helping othersProven experience in project management with proficiency in project management tools, data analysis, and reportingStrong understanding of entrepreneurship, business development, and small business challengesHigh attention to detail, excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and adapt to changing circumstancesPassion for social impact and supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs.High understanding and utilization of Microsoft Office applications including ExcelSalary / Benefits
This position will be full-time, exempt, at 40 hours a week.Salary is commensurate with experience with a range of $50-60kCompensation includes a full benefit package such as paid time off, medical, dental and life insuranceMust be able to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends, inorder to attend community meetings, workshops and events.
