Minimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our team in Conroe, TX. This position will involve working in both retail and long term care pharmacy settings, ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications and providing excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, possess a TX Pharmacy License, and have experience in both retail and long term care pharmacy settings.
Location : Conroe, TX 77385
Setting : Retail / Long Term Care
Current Hours : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Counsel patients on the proper use of medications, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Communicate with healthcare providers regarding patient care issues.
- Maintain patient records and profiles, including medication histories.
- Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws governing the dispensing of controlled substances and other medications.
- Participate in immunization programs and other public health initiatives as needed.
- Manage inventory and order medications and supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and resolving issues promptly and courteously.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care outcomes.
Ideal Candidate :
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- TX Pharmacy License.
- Retail / Long Term Care experience (Ideal).
