• Provide education to patients, and families on the disease process, treatment, diagnostic testing and patient responsibilities involving treatment.\n
• Perform initial assessment and reassessments with appropriate documentation. Notify MD of any abnormal findings.\n
• Obtain laboratory samples per policy. (Example : wound cultures).\n
• Assess wounds and apply ordered dressings per policy. (Example : Una Boots, Combiderm, Aquacel, etc).\n
• Document all treatments on appropriate forms / computer.\n
• Coordinate patient schedule to provide optimal care in a productive timeframe.\n
• Promotes a positive image throughout the organization and community by providing cooperative and courteous service to all customers, patients, families, visitors, physicians and associates.\n
• Interpret lab data and notify MD, pharmacy or other departments for any needed changes in treatment modality\n
• Complete department charges, supply charges and revisit data accurately and promptly to ensure compliance.\n
• Participates in quality improvement activities.\n

• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient\n
