Digital Designer

• Responsible for designing user experiences and interfaces for websites, digital experiences, interactivities, games, and apps.
• Ensure the creation and implementation of customized educational experiences for the digital user.
• Produce high-quality solutions through flow diagrams, graphic designs, storyboards, and site maps.
• Review user feedback to determine potential defects or areas for clarity.
• Work closely with Editorial, Design, and IT departments and company personnel to refine user experience and perform usability tests on software products or website features to ensure functionality.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with internal teams to understand business requirements and processes in relation to contextual user behavior for design proposals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand needs, prototype ideas, and provide mock-ups with ongoing revisions based on feedback.
• Present designs for review and positively accept constructive feedback to maintain fast-paced design-build cycles.
• Apply knowledge of HTML / CSS and understanding of how compositions translate to code to deliver best-in-class designs.

Job Requirements / Skills and Experience :

• Five years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in digital design or related field.
• Fully conversant in all WCAG accessibility requirements.
• Comprehensive understanding of UX / UI as it relates to the ed tech market.
• Excellent visual and organizational skills.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment across multiple projects.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of all relevant industry tools and software.
• Interpersonal communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills to determine solutions to user interface challenges.
• Attention to detail and mastery of information design.

Salary Range : $60,000 - $80,000

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the expected salary range for the position. The base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and skill level.
