Critical Care Registered Nurse
Job Summary :
- Autonomously plans, delivers and assesses patient care within scope of practice utilizing evidence-based practices
- Develops and implements a plan of care based on patient needs identified through nursing assessment, patient family input and physician orders.
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed
- Evaluates effectiveness of care plan and adjusts plan as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Establishes a compassionate environment in which patients and families are cared for with empathy and respect.
- Collaborates with healthcare professionals, ancillary services and insurance providers to support patient care.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research studies.
- Maintains educational requirements and clinical competency
Qualifications :
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting
- Current RN license in the State of Florida
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association for North Naples Campus and must be acquired within first 90 days.
- Intermediate computer knowledge : Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
