In this detail-oriented and patient-focused position, you will be responsible for...
- Answering telephone calls in a fast-paced call center
- Accurate scheduling of multi-modality radiology studies
- Entering / confirming patient demographics and insurance information in the patient medical record
- Working as part of a team, to assist radiologists, technologists, co-workers, patients, referring physician offices as needed
- Delivering exceptional customer service / customer care
- Responding to requests for information
- Confirming of appointments / preparations
- Adherence to safety protocols
Required Education and Experience
- High School degree or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast paced, patient focused environment with heavy call volume
- Commitment to quality patient care and exceptional customer service
- Excellent communicator who can form and maintain effective working relationships with staff, radiologists, referring physicians and patients
- Detail oriented
Preferred Education and Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of prior medical scheduling experience preferred
- High proficiency of PC systems, tools, and applications.
- Bi-lingual (English, Spanish) a plus
