About The Position

Job Title : Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (06 : 50 - 19 : 20)

Experience : 1+ years required

License : Pending License accepted

Certifications : BLS, CST, NBSTSA

Must-Have :

Must have a certificate from NBSTSA.

CSTAHA BLS required.

Description :

Must have experience in a variety of surgical procedures, including abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, amputations, and carotid endarterectomy.

Ability to demonstrate aseptic technique and handle sterilization / disinfection processes.

Experience in general OR practices and trauma procedures is essential.

Travelers must be 100+ miles from every facility to be eligible to travel.

Floating to other units may be required based on census needs.

All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.

Must be able to perform directives and tasks for which competencies have been documented.

No exemptions for flu vaccine; it is required.

Training modules may be required for completion prior to starting.

Candidates with previous charge experience are preferred.

The facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks.

The schedule includes call requirements of 2 days each week along with 1-2 weekends every 6-week period depending on the need.
