Our client, a distinguished Mansfield 5.0 certified AmLaw 100 law firm known for its commitment to professional development, is seeking a skilled Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join their Chicago office.

Candidate Profile :
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar admission in the State of Illinois or able to waive in.
- 6 8 years of substantive experience in labor and employment litigation and counseling .
- Expertise in managing single-plaintiff cases, wage-hour conflicts, class / collective action issues, administrative charges, policy assessments, and investigations is greatly appreciated.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Intellectual curiosity and a practical approach to problem-solving are essential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on challenging and groundbreaking labor and employment cases.
- Take ownership of routine and increasingly complex matters with minimal supervision.
- Conduct policy reviews, investigations, and respond to administrative charges.
- Work within a nationally recognized Labor & Employment practice group.
- Handle a variety of employment-related issues, including wage and hour disputes and class action lawsuits.
- Draft and review critical legal documents, such as motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
