Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive, security screen, count and verify all incoming parcels, freight, etc.
- Log all incoming items, letters and packages, including certified, registered, return receipt, Federal Express, UPS and DHL.
- Distribution of packages and mail in a campus environment.
- Deliver packages to departments and cubicles using P.D.A system to scan and sign for packages.
- Make timely collections of outgoing packages to be shipped via FedEx, UPS & DHL, and U.S.P.S mail to be metered via postage machine.
- Work on a fast pace line processing, sorting, and staging packages for delivery.
- Assist Facilities with tickets assigned to me or other facilities employees.
- Help address various tasks from breakdown and set up of conference rooms, checking and maintaining mechanical rooms and equipment.
Assisting employees with issues dealing with desks, chairs or lockers.
General maintenance of grounds and breakroom areas, changing light and or fixtures, plumbing repairs, maintenance and installations.
Performing facilities safety inspections. Maintaining tools and equipment in clean safe working order.
Rotating "on call" 7 days every 4th week with other coworkers making sure to be available during that time for any call from security pertaining to the buildings and or issues needing attention outside of business hours.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 4-5 years customer service Experience.
- Minimum 1-3 years Shipping Experience.
- 1-3 years of "S&R Associate I" Level Experience.
- Handle multiple projects at one time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
- Ability to effectively work individually and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to meet employer's attendance policy.
- Keyboarding and Windows environment PC Skills.
- 1-3 years' experience with Google applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Attention to detail.
