Sales & Marketing Specialist

We seek an experienced Sales & Marketing Specialist to diversify our customer base and formalize our sales and marketing operations. This role is crucial for our growth, and we need someone with a background in the life sciences industry to drive business development and optimize our marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

Conduct an audit of current sales and marketing operations in collaboration with the owner.

Oversee and manage a small team of inside salespeople.

Utilize existing customer data to assign accounts and territories effectively.

Develop business by leveraging prior relationships and experience in the life sciences industry.

Manage and optimize existing marketing infrastructure, including social media, website management, and digital marketing campaigns.

Collaborate with third-party marketing companies to improve SEO, website updates, and more.

Identify opportunities to leverage AI to boost sales and exposure.

Gain proficiency with e-procurement platforms like Quartzy for integrating product catalogs with customer systems.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

5+ years in sales, business development, and digital marketing.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Experience in team leadership and management with a minimum of 5 direct reports.

Client relationship management.

Negotiation and closing skills.

Sales pipeline and forecasting expertise.

Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho.

Market research and new opportunity identification.

Qualifications

SEO / SEM expertise.

Social media strategy and management.

Experience with paid ads on platforms like Google, Meta, and LinkedIn.

Analytics and reporting proficiency using tools such as Google Analytics.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00 / yr.
