    Job Description :

    \nJoin our dynamic radiology team at Androscoggin Valley Hospital as a Temp Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) and X-Ray procedures. You will perform advanced diagnostic imaging, including setting up radiography equipment, positioning patients accurately across all age groups—from pediatric to geriatric—and acquiring high-quality images essential for diagnosis and treatment planning. Your expertise will support various clinical environments, including surgery and portable X-ray settings, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment such as Philips DR Room, Siemens Luminos Agile, Fuji DR GO portable units, C-arms (GE 9900 Plus, Brivo, OEC Elite, MiniView), and the Toshiba Prime 80 CT scanner.

    Key Responsibilities :

    \n \n

  • Prepare and operate radiology and CT equipment safely and effectively.\n
  • Properly position patients for imaging procedures to obtain optimal diagnostic images.\n
  • Conduct imaging in various settings, including operating rooms and portable scenarios.\n
  • Ensure all procedures comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and patient confidentiality protocols.\n
  • Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.\n
  • Document procedures accurately in Meditech RIS and Fuji Synapse PACS systems.\n
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and troubleshoot basic technical issues as needed.\n
  • \n\n

    What you bring : \n \n

  • Valid state license as a Radiologic Technologist.\n
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).\n
  • Proven experience with CT and X-Ray imaging, preferably in a hospital setting.\n
  • Strong patient care skills with the ability to work efficiently with diverse patient populations.\n
  • Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.\n
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.\n
  • \n\n

    Preferred Education & Experience :

    \n \n

  • A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related healthcare field.\n
  • At least 2 years of recent experience performing CT and X-ray imaging procedures in a hospital environment.\n
  • Prior experience working with Siemens Luminos Agile, Fuji DR systems, and Toshiba CT scanners is highly desirable.\n
