About The Position
We are seeking a Locums Gastroenterology Physician to provide coverage in Saginaw and Midland, MI. The ideal schedule is Friday 7 : 00 AM through Monday 7 : 00 AM plus call coverage, but there may be flexibility for a 7 on / 7 off schedule if needed.
This position would ideally start in December, but the practice is open to working around the locum's availability. You will be responsible for performing hospital rounds and handling consults across two hospital locations, which are approximately 30 minutes apart.
Rounds are done daily, with 10-14 consults / rounds per day at each location, ideally split between the two hospitals. The position requires the ability to handle bread and butter GI cases only, with no advanced procedures at this time.
Additionally, candidates must be able to perform their own vein procedures.
Requirements :
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- MI License or IMLC required
