Worth Palos Dentistry is in search of a dental assistant to become part of our team. While prior experience as a dental assistant is preferred, it is not mandatory, as training will be provided.
The ideal candidate should be personable, outgoing, self-driven, and dependable. The position offers 32-38 hours per week.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Greet and guide patients professionally and cordially from the reception area to the treatment rooms and back.
Assist the dentist chairside during all dental procedures. Perform scans, take digital x-rays, and make impressions. Discuss post-operative care guidelines with patients.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments, set up instrument trays, and prepare the necessary materials for dental procedures.
Setting up and breaking down operatories, ensuring that rooms are sterilized, equipped, and fully stocked with inventory.
Assist with supply inventory and ordering. Ensure the office enviroment is kept clean and professional. Collaborate with front office personnel to create an inclusive experience for patients.
Qualifications : Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills. Basic typing and computer skills. Willingness to learn Dentrix, Dexis and iTero software programs.
Organizational skills coupled with attention to detail. Maintains a positive attitude and works well with others. Schedule : 32-38 hours / 4-5 days per a week Two Saturdays a month from 7 : 00 A.
