Job Summary & Essential Functions : Operate computer-controlled equipment or mechanically based machines. Make sure they are set up properly, perform periodic checks on output as necessary to ensure machines are working at full capacity and producing quality products.
Inspection criteria will be based on IPC standards and component markings including color. Assemble portions of work between machine operations.
- Carry out production, inspection, machine operation, and assembly duties
- Set up machinery to build to specifications and ensure all materials are readily available
- Effectively monitor production equipment and collect data to improve quality
- Assist technicians and materials clerk as necessary
- Perform appropriate duties as assigned by leadership
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace
- Follow established safety rules, departmental procedures and work instructions

- Ability to accurately read no load drawings and bill of materials for specified product

Work Environment and Safety Equipment Required : The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.
- This is an electronics field service and manufacturing environment that requires the use of safety devices including glasses with side shields and ESD equipment / clothing.
- Lead solder and paste, isopropyl alcohol, flux, RTV, solvents, various adhesives.
- Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
