Assembler I - $1,500 Sign-On Bonus

Advanced Assembly, Inc. (AAI), located in University Research park on the west side of Madison, is adding Assembler I positions to our well-trained and experienced staff.

These full-time positions offer a first shift schedule of Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 2 : 30 PM, a competitive starting wage and a full benefits package.

New Employees - Sign-On Bonus : The company is offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus to newly-hired full-time employees. The bonus will be paid on the first check following successful completion of the employee's 90-day probationary period.

Job Description : The Assembler I performs routine assembly operations, of a repetitive nature, to produce quality products per product specifications.

Primarily, this is an entry-level position.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities : (Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time).

• Assembles product and sub-assemblies according to written documentation
• Tests functional performance of assemblies using various meters and test equipment
• Moves material to and from work area
• Minimal soldering of components may be required
• Utilizes small hand tools, jigs and fixtures
• Packages product per process instructions
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned by primary supervisor

Requirements :

• High school diploma / GED preferred
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read, speak and understand both verbal and written instructions in the English language
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail (working with small electronic parts)
