A law firm in Washington, D.C., is seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Antitrust Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with partners in the Antitrust Practice, handling a diverse range of matters, including litigation, mergers, government investigations, and counseling matters.
Job Duties :
- Collaborate with partners on antitrust cases, providing legal analysis, research, and strategic input.
- Manage and participate in all aspects of litigation, from case initiation to resolution, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research on antitrust issues, keeping abreast of relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.
- Provide counsel on antitrust implications for mergers, acquisitions, and business practices.
- Assist in responding to government antitrust investigations and inquiries.
Requirements :
- A minimum of 3 years of significant antitrust experience.
- Solid understanding of antitrust principles and their application in various legal contexts.
- Preferably possess litigation skills, demonstrating the ability to handle cases independently.
- Undergraduate coursework in economics is a plus, showcasing a strong foundation in economic principles relevant to antitrust matters.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate legal strategies and arguments.
- Admission to the Washington, D.C. Bar or eligibility for prompt admission.
Education :
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications :
Admission to the Washington, D.C. Bar.
