Avera is currently seeking RN Diabetes Management Educator!
Position Highlights :

Job Summary
The Diabetes Management Educator provides individual and group diabetes self-management education, conducts community and health professional education related to diabetes, and serves as a resource for the nursing staff relative to diabetes education and basic nursing care of the diabetes patient.
Education and / or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
- Experience in diabetes inpatient care and / or diabetes education preferred.
Licensure / Certification / Registration
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and / or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm, on-call one wknd / month; 80hrs / 2wks
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$26.25 - $39.25 per hour
