Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH Wireless seeks a Principal Network Engineer to lead the design and implementation of network systems crucial for our 5G network's success.
This role involves evaluating, testing, and deploying foundational network elements for a nationwide 5G buildout. The candidate will provide advanced technical leadership, including upgrades for mission-critical devices and services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Communicating engineering solutions through detailed diagrams
- Implementing Agile methodology for software development
- Architecting and developing software automation tools
- Guiding teams on best software development practices
- Collaborating with teams to innovate and drive new features forward
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience :
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering
- 10+ years of professional experience in large enterprise or carrier environments
- Professional networking certifications such as CCNA / CCNP / CCIE or equivalent are advantageous
- Public cloud certifications like advanced networking, cloud network engineer, or equivalent are beneficial
Skills and Qualifications :
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, JavaScript, BPA, NSO, REST, Bash
- Experience with server virtualization (VMWare, OpenStack)

Salary Ranges Compensation : $127,050.00 / Year - $208,725.00 / Year Benefits
