Job Title : Medical Device assembler - 2nd shift
Location : Irvine, CA
Pay Rate : 19.75 / hr
Shift Timings : 3 PM - 11 : 30 PM
Job Description :
- Produce high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell, including assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, ICDs, leads, and related medical device assemblies.
- Perform routine assignments following specified procedures under close supervision.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of job documentation related to cell operations.
- Communicate effectively with manufacturing management in both written and oral forms.
- Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal and external customers.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices.
- Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes.
- Maintain accurate records to ensure traceability and address quality issues.
- Demonstrate basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Supervisor / Manager to set and monitor goals and performance metrics.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Ability to handle small components and make critical decisions.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in reading, comprehending, and following written procedures.
- Effective communication skills (written and oral).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Experience with electronic data collection systems and computer software.
- Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.
Dress Code (During Interview and On-the-Job) :
- Clothing must be non-shedding and free of frayed hems or loose threads.
- Avoid clothing with tassels, fringes, glitter, sequins, or other items that could become dislodged.
- Sweaters, loose knit, or fleece garments are not permitted.
- All clothing must be clean and free of visible contamination.
- Shoes must be worn at all times; sandals, clogs, and open-toe shoes are not allowed.
- Torso, upper arms, and legs must be covered appropriately.
- Nail polish, acrylic nails, and similar coatings are not permitted.
- Avoid wearing jewelry or body piercings that can pierce gloves or cannot be covered under gowning materials.
- Makeup and scented personal use products are not allowed.
- Cover any open or bleeding wounds with a bandage.
