We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic. As an Ambulatory Nurse, you will provide healthcare to individuals, families, and communities within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing.
- Provide competent health care to patients and families in the area of practice, ensuring adherence to established standards of care and scope of practice.
- Ensure complete and accurate documentation of care.
- Offer health and wellness education to individuals and groups.
- Support the development of other staff and healthcare students as a preceptor.
- Lead initiatives to improve the quality of care or clinical outcomes.
- Manage triage responsibilities for pregnant women, well women, and acute conditions following obstetrical and gynecological protocols.
- Assist with moderately complex procedures and administer chemotherapeutic agents and blood products.
- Educate patients regarding planned surgical procedures and provide comprehensive prenatal and breastfeeding education.
- Excel in customer service, team building, and problem-solving abilities.
- Perform in-office injections and blood pressure monitoring.
