The Senior Architect is responsible for working with multiple stakeholders and guide the architectural team during the design / construction process.

The Senior Architect will have three main customers : the Client, Discipline Design Leads, and Exyte Management team. Will interface daily primarily with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to : Project Management Team, Architects, Design Leads, QA / QC Manager, and the Architectural Discipline Lead.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Trains and develops Architectural Designers in all processes / procedures / standards
• Coordinates, guides, and oversees the team to achieve the correct technical solutions to difficult design and client problems
• Reviews architectural drawings for completeness, constructability, and coordination
• Collaborates with design and technical teams while supporting or leading the development of design deliverables from studies to Construction Documents, including drawings and specifications
• Maintains primary accountability for all architectural designs, sharing design responsibility
• Mentors Interns and junior members of project teams
• Participates in the development of office standards and procedures
• Exhibit characteristics of a leader
• Strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Be capable of enjoying the work and keeping a positive attitude in a challenging environment
• Knowledgeable and productive in the Autodesk Building System Software work environment
• Exhibit a professional demeanor and be a proactive problem solver
• Understands Standard Installation Details, client BIM standards, industry drafting and design standards
• Demonstrable proficiency with Autodesk Building Systems Software
• Adept at interfacing with and aligning multiple stakeholders with diplomacy
• Exhibit a professional demeanor and be a proactive problem solver
• Ability to manage 5+ staff
• Other duties as assigned

Show your expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required
• Master’s in Architecture preferred
• Architectural License (AIA) required
• LEED® AP with Specialty or GA (Green Associate) preferred
• Nation Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Certificate preferred
• 14+ years professional experience
• 5+ years of experience with semiconductor and microelectronics facilities
• Experience executing projects utilizing Autodesk Building System Software
• Experience with Design-Build a plus
• Experience managing teams utilizing Autodesk Building Systems Software Experience with Design-Build a plus
• Experience in global teams and / or multi-office project execution is desirable
