Senior Estimator - Commercial Construction

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in managing complex commercial construction projects from inception to completion.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and impactful projects in Denver.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and relevant documents to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and potential challenges that may impact project costs.
• Research and identify material and labor costs, utilizing industry databases, supplier quotes, and historical data.
• Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, including detailed breakdowns of labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotes and negotiate pricing to ensure competitive and accurate bids.
• Review and validate project budgets, providing ongoing support and guidance to project teams during execution.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting construction costs.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwift, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes, regulations, and building practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
