Job Description
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Managing Attorney and Associates
- Manage the office calendar, including scheduling and monitoring deadlines
- Handle incoming calls and communicate with clients, law offices, and courts
- Maintain client systems and files (both hard copy and electronic)
- Format and process legal documents, including filings via JEDS
- Handle office duties such as ordering supplies and managing building-related tasks
- Prepare mail packages, scan documents, and make copies
- Support attorneys by ensuring tasks are completed promptly and accurately
Qualifications
- 2+ years of recent legal administrative assistant experience in family law
- Knowledge of New Jersey e-courts and legal processes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
